Blooms of Arcana
In Regency London, magic blossoms in the most unlikely places.
1814, London, England.
Bloomcraft has blossomed amongst the Ton of Regency England.
Miss Hazel Honeyfield is under its spell. Trained as a herbalist by her parents, she dreams of creating a business with flower magic. It’s a dream the Horticultural Society of London, arbiters of Bloomcraft, would crush. Regardless, Miss Honeyfield is determined to navigate the thorny path ahead.
Sir Miles William Ellis investigates bloomcraft-related crimes. A member of the Horticultural Society of London, Sir Miles takes his responsibilities seriously. In a life of respectable predictability, solving mysteries provides variety and danger.
When tragedy brings them together, progressive pride clashes with traditional sensibilities. Yet Miss Honeyfield and Sir Miles find they share a certain accomplishment: the ability to solve mysteries. From the glittering ballrooms of the Ton to the grimy backstreets of London, this unconventional duo will seek to solve any mystery that baffles Regency England.
The next mystery could either nip their burgeoning relationship in the bud or see it bloom into something magical in Blooms of Arcana.
Inspired by the Language of Flowers, this is a series where magical mysteries bloom alongside strong heroines, societal intrigue, and blossoming danger.
