I will remake this world however I see fit, in great and small ways. Mortals may plead for constancy, but transformation is the only true constant. ~Changebearer

Name: Shaper of everything Efia (a.k.a. Changebearer, Harbinger).

Divine Domains: Transformation, Destruction, Marriage, Motherhood, Fertility.

Artifacts: Cutting Scythe – represent the deity’s power to cut away the old and make way for the new.

Trumpet of Awakening – deity’s power to call forth new opportunities and awaken people to new possibilities.

Divine Symbols & Sigils: Their divine symbol is often a butterfly or a snake shedding its skin. Recently the symbol of a phoenix has been given to the Changebearer but it is unknown by whom.

Tenets of Faith: Embrace Change
Respect destruction
Celebrate transformational events.

Holidays:

Spring Equinox – Followers of the deity use this time to celebrate the power of transformation and change, and to acknowledge the deity’s influence on the natural world.

Marriage Festival – This festival includes rituals to bless new marriages, as well as celebrations of long-lasting partnerships.

Harvest Festival – This festival includes feasting, music, and dancing, as well as rituals to give thanks for the blessings of the deity.

Destruction Day – This holiday includes rituals to let go of old patterns or relationships, as well as celebrations of the power of destruction to pave the way for something new.

Even before my time, no one had seen them since the 1st Age. Their Amabassador spoke for them.

This powerful deity is often depicted as a shapeshifter, capable of taking on different forms and bringing about significant changes in the world. The capricious Changebearer continuously altered the fabric of the world in their domain, reshaping environments and lives with little pattern mortals could discern. Their unpredictable transformations perhaps was meant to teach us humility.

Physical description: Pink skin with cool, rose jeweled undertones. The color of sun setting after glow. Narrow gray eyes.

Apparel & Accessories: Their ash-grey clothes leave little to the imagination and they prefer nudity.

Special Abilities: They sometimes take the form of a wasp.

The prideful Wild shows little concern for the troubles of mere mortals, instead reveling in upending our careful plans with chaotic tricks and defiant disregard for rules. But only our rules.

Curious Muse, Major Deity of Kairas

Name: Curious Muse, Moraa (a.k.a My Muse)

Divine Domains: Enlightenment, Liberation, Magic.

Holy Book:

The Manual – No one has ever seen what is in these divine pages. It was on the Muse at all times.

Divine Symbols & Sigils: A book with intricate swirl in the middle.

Tenets of Faith:

Experimentation breeds invigoration and progress.
Delight does not come upon one by itself.

Physical description: Fawn white skin, expressive eyebrows, and a hint of a smirk. Their deep brown hair tumbles in waves and curls.

Specialized Equipment: They often are armed with a bow and arrow or a staff of complex design. They always have a follower to hand them tools as they walk.

The Curious Muse seemed to be always tinkering with something. Often they were found with a bit of metal, string, or wood combining it in a fashion. They encourages their worshipers to experiment with the essence of the world around them, the hum of magic ever flowing on Kairas, and taught them how to tap into it. Many that worshipped The Curious Muse were the best magic users in the world.

Name: Alifa (a.k.a Reverie), Night Bringer

Divine Domains: Night, Moon, Stars, Dreams, Nightmares

Holy Books & Codes: Consteller’s Star Map, Night Log

Divine Symbols & Sigils: Visage of an owl.

Holidays:

The Full Night – Dream the 8th – 24 hours of perpetual night for the entire land.

Motivation: To protect those who dream and to prevent nightmares from escaping.

Physical description: Tawny beige skin is freckled with brown spots. Hair the color of a deep blue. It changes depending on their mood but, not often.

Apparel & Accessories: They often wrapped themselves in night, dark colors, as the constellations they’ve created display on their skin. They wear a ring on one hand and don no visible weapons.

Pets: Giant owl named Vabo

They often present to everyone, everywhere, all at once through dreams and nightmares. Most people in the world knew exactly what the Night Bringer looked like because of this. They took their work seriously and tried to offer dreamscapes that were relevant or of some meaning to the dreamer.

They ruled the night in a less strict manner than their sibling, Bright Justice. Sometimes the day and night clashed because of this differing structure. The moon and the stars are under the domain of Night Bringer. They often listened to ideas and thoughts from their worshippers on what should decorate the darkened sky.

Bright Justice, Major Deity of Kairas

How may the light shine your way to day? ~Typical greeting from Priests of Bright

Name: Bright Justice, Aeonian

Divine Domains: Sun, Law, Order, Justice.

Holy Books & Codes: The Codex Of The Sentinel, the book in which laws are written and enforced

Divine Symbols & Sigils: Square with an arrow or a shining scimitar.

Devine Goals and Aspirations: To keep the land and its people in a balanced order.

Physical description: They presented themselves at exactly 6ft and 165 lbs. Their dark skin was flawless, their hair coiled to perfection, and their robes the exact length to grace the floor but never drag.

Apparel & Accessories: A long deep yellow cloak with black trim. Black soft pants and a deep blue tunic.

Pets: A pure black horse. Name unknown. Flame and smoke were all people saw of the creature but it was said the Bright Justice loved him more than any one else.

Bright Justice had a heavy hand in the laws that governed the entire continent but in their domain that hand could be smothering. They ruled the sky and the land equally and through them the sun set and rose on its exact schedule every day.

They were considered ruthless by some and considerate by others. They weighed all sides of an argument, request, or ask and made the best judgement that they could. It seems to them that was true justice. It was true law.

Knowing Messenger – Minor Deity of Kairas

Just because we can see the future does not mean our hands are tied. In fact, they are better guided than ever to set a new wheel in motion. ~Meliori

Name: Knowing Messenger, Meliori the Ascended, Ardent Ambassador Meliori.

Divine Domains: Knowledge, mindfulness, wisdom, prophecy

Divine Symbols & Sigils:
Gray dove
Wings made of olive branches
Large eye

Realm: Halls of Kaira

Church: The Stacks

Physical description: Freckles across the bridge of the nose is a staple for this deity. Golden swirling amber eyes. Brown and gold loose curls that are accentuated by circlet of olive vines that stretch on either side of their head into small wings.

Personal History: Adopted by Lady Endurance. Orphaned with sibling Bota.

Education: Formally educated by Lady Endurance and the Celestials at the Hearth Great Library

Accomplishments and Achievements: She worked with Endurance to use the network of the libraries to create the organization The Stacks and start the first Curators on their missions to discover new information across the land and gather it for the Stacks.

With a heart as strong as Lady Endurance and a mind as curious as the Muse, Knowing Messenger possesses a rare and exceptional gift – the power to touch a person’s soul and reveal their destined moment in time, allowing them to make the most of their present and future.

Meliori may be the only mortal in the world who knew my struggles as I knew them. Whether because of her gift or because of her insightful nature I don’t know. But time is not an easy thing to manage. Nor are children, as her and her brother have shown me daily. But with them I understand what none of my siblings could possibly know. That mortals are our best chance for actually enduring after our lifetimes.

Farmer – Minor Deity of Kairas

Wild may dash the fruits of my fields, and Bright Justice may alter the skies above, but still I gently nurture the seeds of life. Without my caring touch, what bounties would we enjoy? ~Farmer

Name: Farmer, Bota

Divine Domains: grain, wine, agriculture, fishery, coasts, harvest, growth, and nourishment

Divine Symbols & Sigils:
A spade thrust in the ground.

Tenets of Faith: You reap what you sow.

Physical description: reddish-brown skin. Brown eyes and hair color and length like stalks of wheat

Realm: Halls of Kaira.

Church: The Order of the Stone.

History: Orphaned with sibling Meliori, when they were young they made their way from somewhere in the east and were found by Endurance themselves.

Nicknames: Meliori’s for Bota is chicken coop. Bota’s for Meliori is miss know-it-all.

Where the Changebearer radically altered the world, the humble Farmer embraced gradual change through careful cultivation, bringing sustenance and stability to mortals year after year via the balanced cycles of soil, seasons and stewardship. We owe a great loyalty to Farmer, not only for our way of life, but as a Brix, our very existence.

Bota was a simple man who cared for the workers of the estate, farming, and the animals he loved. He was fond of wine and eating his fair share of every meal. And oh my could he eat. He loved his sister dearly and if pushed would fight to protect those he cared for with the fury of beast and land.

Divine Domains: Death, the Afterlife

Holy Books & Codes:

The Epilogues are a series of pages of writings by the followers of Noble Death.
The Appended is a private book the Noble Death keeps on him at all times. It is said to be slim, white, and often consulted.

Divine Symbols & Sigils:

A gray circle or just precise circle.

Church/Cult: Followers of the Spirits.

Physical quirks: Ferous presents themselves as a pink skinned human. Their dark russet brown hair is tinged with grey and their eyes soft and kind.

Apparel & Accessories: Black formal attire of dressed simple robes.

Partner: Noble Endurance

Death is the welcoming comfort at the end of life in Kairas. Providing comfort in their soft-spoken manner in their appearance, they remain front and foremost in the people’s lives. The dutiful worshipers of Death are granted an everlasting view into the afterlife and what happens when you die. Death is not shrouded in darkness or mystery but transparency. To fear death in Kairas to be willfully ignorant of the followers, temples, and priests of Noble Death. Or, to have lived a life so wickedly, the fear is really of not making it to the Fields of Remembered but into Veil of the Forgotten.
