Armed with her wit, a whip, and her magical scarf, Fiona can step between the fantastical worlds of The Book of Larrakane in a moment. She’ll discover the truth regardless of whose toes, paws, claws or fins she steps on. From unraveling conspiracies in Elizabethan-inspired Rise, outwitting panthers on Roman seas of Kerus, or navigating intrigues in a Venetian-like realm of canals and secretive fae in the Court of Copper.

But a new mystery is emerging that could threaten everything. Fiona is going to need help and letting people into her life has never been easy.

Come for the mystery and world-building. Stay for the delightful characters whom you’ll root for time and time again. This historical fantasy mystery series is a page turner!

Two cases and a world to save. Fiona's going to need more coffee.

Independent investigator Fiona Thorne works alone. The door to her Agency is open to all. However, letting people into her life isn’t as easy, until one little spark ignites a change.

Blaze, the Page of Fire, is burning out. Fire Elementals are being smuggled to Goddess knows where. The wise Druids are baffled. The Travel Guild, usually a proactive authority on all the Pages, seems unconcerned. Fiona’s not one to wait for permission when there are lives at risk. But before she heads out, Fiona is entrusted with an urgent case from a perturbed phoenix.

Two cases, one mystery, and not much time. The clues could be buried in the rocky depths of the Page of Earth or floating amongst the clouds of the Page of Air. Even with her ability to step between fantastical worlds in an instant, Fiona is going to need help.

Gaili, the shy faun alchemist with a talent for invention and trouble. Petronia, a persistent member of the Travel Guild with a quick temper and fast claws. The charming Captain Henrietta who smuggles more than coffee in her floating ship. Each could help or hinder the investigation and call into question Fiona’s determination to go solo. Only time will tell but time is running out.

Can Fiona read between the lines and solve the mystery of Blaze?
